We’re excited to welcome Bob Ratliff to the Meskel & Associates Engineering team as a fire services professional. With a career spanning over 30 years, Bob brings an extensive background in fire safety management and compliance, coupled with a robust set of licenses and certifications that enhance our team’s expertise in public safety.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Fire Science degree from Columbia Southern University and has earned a wide array of certifications, including Certified Fire Protection Specialist (2009), Certified Fire Plans Examiner (2007), and Fire Safety Inspector (2000). His credentials also include specialized training as a Senior Level Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting professional and multiple Instructor certifications from the State of Florida.
Bob’s career history includes serving as Deputy Chief Fire Marshal with Nassau County Fire Rescue, where he managed fire prevention, inspection, and investigation programs, supervised fire safety staff, and responded to fire incidents. His background also includes a role as Senior Fire Protection Inspector at Universal Engineering Sciences, where he conducted fire safety inspections and advised on fire protection systems.
