Project Spotlight

Marina San Pablo – High Rise Buildings and Seawall

This project included construction of a condominium development within the southeast quadrant of the intersection of San Pablo Road and J.T. Butler Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida. The construction consisted of three, 12-story condominium buildings with below-grade parking areas. An existing marina was expanded as part of the project by constructing a seawall using sheet piling and helical pier tie-backs. Below-grade exfiltration trenches were installed for stormwater management, and roadways and parking areas were constructed. Geotechnical engineering was performed and included auger-cast pile foundations, sheet pile wall design, and exfiltration trenches.
