| From 2011 to 2019, MAE performed Construction Inspection and QA / QC services for the City of Jacksonville Trail Ridge Landfill located in Baldwin, Duval County, Florida. Our work was performed for approximately 80 acres of landfill closure construction (Phase 4) for England-Thims & Miller (ETM) between 2011 and 2016, and for approximately 300 acres of landfill expansion construction (Phase 6) for CDM Smith from 2015 to 2019. Our responsibilities during closure and expansion construction activities included monitoring and documentation of day-to-day construction operations, performing QA testing on proposed materials (soils and aggregates) to be used for different phases of construction, and performing QC construction materials field and laboratory testing programs for production of all permanent cover soils, roadway base and subgrade soils for all access roads, pipe backfill soils for leachate collection system and concrete for all structures and conveyance ditch liner for the stormwater collection system. |
