Tina Meskel: ‘We are going to deliver on what we promise’

Tina Meskel, the 2019 JAX Chamber Small Business Leader of the Year, pursues a basic – and successful – business strategy.

“We are going to deliver on what we promise. That’s really all there is to it,” Meskel said.

Meskel & Associates Engineering, founded in 2008, has grown into a Jacksonville business with 25 employees and $2.9 million in annual revenue. 

Her projects include high-profile developments in Northeast Florida. The Intercity Bus Terminal Downtown, UNF road resurfacings and JEA projects are a few of her projects, along with private development.

Since today is Friday the 13th, some people might be staying in bed to avoid black cats or cracked mirrors. But here at MAE, we don’t leave things to "luck."

While the rest of the world is worried about bad omens, we’re busy making sure our math is precise, our designs are solid, and our structures are built to withstand anything—even a little Friday the 13th spookiness!

Why we aren`t worried:

Gravity doesn’t care about superstitions.
Our blueprints are checked twice (and then a third time).
The only "spooky" thing here is how fast the coffee disappears. ☕️

Whether you’re superstitious or just "stastic-ious," we hope you have a safe, productive, and mishap-free weekend!
