Forget runway fashion — today we're celebrating our own kind of "fit check."
Hard hat: check. ✅
Hi-vis vest: check. ✅
Steel-toe boots broken in just right: check. ✅
Sunglasses to survive the Florida glare: absolutely check. ✅

It might not be Paris Fashion Week, but our MAE crews show up every day dressed for the job — safety first, style optional (though we like to think we still pull it off).
Field notes from the SR 312 extension project :
Today's lineup: one drill rig, two trucks, zero air conditioning, and grass tall enough to lose a shoe in. Our Geotech crew braved the Florida wilderness (and probably a few mosquitoes the size of hummingbirds) to drill down and figure out what's really going on beneath all that green.
Turns out "scenic overlook" and "active job site" can look surprisingly similar out here.
Big thanks to the team for getting boots-on-the-ground (and knee-deep in weeds) so SR 312 can keep moving forward!
Behind every strong structure is a team ensuring the materials used are durable, compliant, and built to last. From concrete testing and soil stabilization to aggregate supply and quality assurance, Construction Materials Lab services are what bridge the gap between a blueprint and a building that stands the test of time.

We take pride in helping builders, engineers, and developers lay the groundwork for success—literally.

Ready to start your next project with materials you can trust? Let’s build something great together.
Today, we are celebrating the brilliant women who are shaping our world from the ground up. From structural and civil engineering to MEP and environmental design, women in engineering are driving innovation, solving complex challenges, and building a more sustainable future.

To all the trailblazing women on our team and across the AEC industry: thank you for your vision, your expertise, and your leadership. You aren't just designing buildings and infrastructure; you’re paving the way for the next generation of STEM leaders.
Today marks the longest day of the year, and while most people are thinking about beach trips and BBQs, our team at MAE is thinking about daylighting, solar orientation, and sustainable design. In the AEC industry, the sun isn't just a weather report—it's a critical design partner. From maximizing natural light to reduce energy loads to optimizing building envelopes for peak thermal comfort, the way we capture today's sunlight shapes the spaces we live and work in all year round.

Here’s to designing a brighter, more sustainable future—one sunbeam at a time.
Honoring the history, resilience, and enduring spirit of freedom. This Juneteenth, we join our community in reflecting on the past and continuing the journey toward a more just and equal future. Wishing everyone a meaningful Freedom Day! #Juneteenth #FreedomDay #CommunityFirst #meskelandassociates
Congratulations Brett and Brittany on your new bundle of joy! We can't wait to meet her.
While Haines City sleeps, the Meskel & Associates crew is up and running!

We were out there handling some essential night drilling. Working after hours means less daytime congestion for the local community and keeps our projects on the fast track.

Big thanks to our incredible crew for their hard work, dedication, and putting in the night shifts!

Happy #WorldBicycleDay!

As AEC professionals, we love a good value-engineering phase. And looking at current gas prices, we’ve decided the most cost-effective, high-efficiency, zero-emission vehicle on the market today is... the bicycle.

Project Specs:
Lead Time: 0 days (it’s in the garage)
Fuel Cost: A bowl of oatmeal
Carbon Footprint: Net-Zero
RFI Status: Closed. Just pedal.

Are you value-engineering your commute today, or are you still paying premium prices for horsepower?
