Breaking News: Our office has officially been declared a "High-Risk Danger Zone." 🚩

Huge shoutout to Mark Kurtiak, Jr., who clearly had way too much time on his hands this morning. We arrived to find the building wrapped in danger tape. Is it a biohazard? A structural collapse? No, just a classic case of April Fools' dedication.

Proceed with caution (and maybe coffee).
Happy birthday to your twin brother as well!
Forget tie-backs and soil nails. We’ve just designed the world's first Inverse-Gravity Retaining Wall. Instead of holding the dirt back, it actually repels the earth using localized magnetic fields. The only downside is that if you walk too close with a belt buckle, you might end up as part of the facade!
New week, same commitment to excellence.

At Meskel & Associates Engineering, our Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) team is hitting the ground running this Monday. We don't just watch the progress—we ensure every detail aligns with the contract, codes, and safety standards.

From monitoring daily activities to verifying materials and documentation, we act as the vital link between design and completion. We’re here to protect the project’s integrity and the owner’s investment.

Let’s build something that lasts.

Happy Monday! As we kick off a new week at Meskel & Associates Engineering, our teams are out in the field providing the geotechnical and environmental insights that keep Florida’s infrastructure moving forward.

From subsurface soil exploration to construction materials testing, we are proud to support the AEC industry with practical, reliable solutions. Whether it’s a waterway project or a new commercial development, we’re digging deep to ensure a solid foundation for every client.

Let’s build a successful week together!

Since today is Friday the 13th, some people might be staying in bed to avoid black cats or cracked mirrors. But here at MAE, we don’t leave things to "luck."

While the rest of the world is worried about bad omens, we’re busy making sure our math is precise, our designs are solid, and our structures are built to withstand anything—even a little Friday the 13th spookiness!

Why we aren't worried:

Gravity doesn’t care about superstitions.
Our blueprints are checked twice (and then a third time).
The only "spooky" thing here is how fast the coffee disappears. ☕️

Whether you’re superstitious or just "stastic-ious," we hope you have a safe, productive, and mishap-free weekend!
