JEA TWMP Segment 4A Water Main

Total Water Management Plan, Segment 4A 30” Water Main Arlington Expressway Crossing Inspection and testing services – MAE was a Resident Project Inspector / QA/QC Inspector for this project. Our responsibilities included field monitoring of 1,500 feet of 36” DR-11 HDPE and 200 feet of 30” DIP, open-cut utility project within FDOT R/W in accordance with FDOT and JEA specifications/details. The project was performed within 30 days during a 24-hour construction operation. The corridor for the new utilities was within the North Arlington Expressway Service Road which required total roadway rehabilitation for 1,000 feet with extensive detours and MOT that included coordination with the JTA bus system and COJ Traffic Engineering. The project included an open-cut of Arlington Expressway for installation of the water main. MAE was responsible for monitoring and documenting construction operations, coordination with FDOT and JEA representatives, local business owners/ residents and coordinating construction material testing program for backfill, subgrade, limerock, asphalt, concrete curb and concrete sidewalk.
