Facility included 1.0 MG prestressed concrete water storage tank, with room for a future second tank of similar capacity, potable water high service pump station designed for 5 pumps, a Sodium Hypochlorite Pump Skid and tanks, and an emergency fuel generator and fuel tank. In addition, a 24-inch raw water main will be constructed to the facility from the existing and future water supply wells. MAE’s responsibilities included Standard Penetration Test (SPT) borings within the area of the proposed structures, plus auger borings along the pipeline route and adjacent to the existing stormwater pond. A Geotechnical Report was prepared that included foundation design and site preparation recommendations, and a determination of the Seismic Site Classification.
